Job Description
Help us find the providers who will care for Minnesota's communities.
At Fairview, we hire more than 11,000 people each year across our hospitals, clinics, and senior living and care communities.
Some of the most critical of those hires are physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and CRNAs, in specialties where every qualified candidate is competing for attention.
We're looking for a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist to lead how we find, engage, and attract them. You'll set sourcing strategy across multiple business verticals, act as the go-to sourcing consultant for our physician and APP recruiters, and support a growing team of Sourcing Specialists.
If you know how to fill provider requisitions with data, creativity, and relationships, and you want your work to shape how a major health system attracts talent, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Lead sourcing strategy. Partner with recruiters and recruitment leaders to design and refine enterprise-wide recruitment marketing and sourcing strategy, with a focus on physician and APP recruitment. You'll own labor market research for provider specialties, including compensation benchmarking, physician workforce trends, and specialty-specific talent pipelines, and turn that insight into recommendations leadership can act on.
Find new ways to reach providers. Evaluate, pilot, and build the business case for new sourcing channels and tools, such as physician job boards, medical association partnerships, locum and APP staffing networks, AI sourcing and database mining tools, and passive candidate engagement platforms.
Manage budget and prove ROI. Own advertising and job posting budgets, including physician-specific channels and medical staffing databases. Build dashboards and scorecards that show cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and channel ROI to medical staff leadership and executives.
Keep sourcing ahead of demand. Maintain forward-looking sourcing calendars for high-volume, hard-to-fill, and provider roles, and solve the challenges unique to physician recruiting, such as credentialing timelines, licensure requirements, and specialty scarcity.
Develop the team. Mentor and coach Sourcing Specialists on provider sourcing best practices, and help hire and onboard new team members.
Lead projects that matter. Drive cross-functional recruitment marketing and sourcing projects from scope to evaluation, and represent sourcing on provider recruitment initiatives across the organization, ensuring messaging stays consistent with the Fairview brand.

Demonstrated experience with sourcing/recruitment technology platforms, data analysis, and budget/vendor management.
- Prior experience mentoring or informally leading other sourcing or recruitment staff preferred.
