The Specialty Pharmacist Navigator establishes relationships with physician practices to facilitate specialty medication prescriptions and patient access. The role involves processing prescriptions, managing prior authorizations, and providing financial advocacy to ensure patients receive necessary treatments.
Candidates must hold a PharmD degree and a current unrestricted pharmacist license. A minimum of 5 years of experience in community, retail, or ambulatory pharmacy is required, with preference for specialty pharmacy and prior authorization expertise.
