The Attending Physician provides comprehensive medical care to patients, including disease evaluation, staging, and treatment planning. Additionally, the role involves supervising medical trainees, conducting clinical research, and participating in departmental administrative and quality improvement activities.
Candidates must hold a medical degree, have completed an accredited Internal Medicine residency, and possess a valid New York State medical license. Board certification or eligibility in the specialty area, along with current ACLS/BCLS and DEA certifications, is required.
