Registered Respiratory Therapist (PRN)

Join NORTH ARKANSAS REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (PRN) in Harrison, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and bronchial hygiene; perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.

• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) per protocol; document in the electronic health record (Meditech).

• Assist with crash cart maintenance and support patient/family respiratory education.

• Provide shift leadership/charge support as assigned; coordinate with the care team.

Requirements

• Required Arkansas license (RRT or CRT) and BLS; ACLS within required timeframe.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Preferred Recent acute-care respiratory care experience; advanced certifications (e. g., NRP, PALS).

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
