About the Role

Join OSU Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist – Nights, Sign-On Bonus in United States. SIGN-ON BONUS $15,000 The Registered Respiratory Therapist reports to the shift supervisor/manager. Capable of setting up and operating various types of equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and or illness.

  • Weekend coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates equipment for diagnosing and treating respiratory illnesses, administering respiratory gases and medications, and responding to hospital emergencies. Responsibilities also include analyzing blood gases, educating patients on home equipment use, and assisting with mechanically ventilated patient transport.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Oklahoma RT License and current BLS certification, with an Associate Degree being preferred for this role. Experience of 0 to 1 year is preferred, and the role requires working alternate weekends and holidays.
