Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct patient care and assists with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment under the supervision of nursing staff. They are responsible for observing patient behavior, documenting changes, and providing crisis intervention to ensure patient safety.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Handle with Care (HWC), both to be obtained within 45 days of hire.
