What You'll Do

As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you will: Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans Establish appropriate therapy goals to promote optimal patient outcomes Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve function and independence Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Participate in regularly scheduled patient care-team conferences Contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care, including therapy goals, patient progress, and discharge recommendations Coordinate patient care with an interdisciplinary team that includes, but is not limited to: Physicians Nurse Practitioners Physical Therapists Speech Therapists Nurses Other rehabilitation professionals Educate and encourage patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills in a dynamic clinical environment Encourage and inspire patients as they work toward greater independence and recovery Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: What We're Looking For Education Appropriate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Licensure Current, valid Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of Mississippi Certification American Red Cross BLS Experience New graduates are welcome to apply!
