Job Description

Coordinator -Physician Practice

Department: Providence Medical Building

  • Henry Ford Medical Center – Troy
  • 22250 Providence Drive, Southfield MI 48075

Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of physician practices within this network, supporting both providers and patients.

Role Overview: As a Coord-Physician Practice, you will be the linchpin of daily operations in a physician practice or health center. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication between physicians, office staff, and other clinical and administrative areas. By coordinating staffing, managing office correspondence, and supporting various operational tasks, you will help maintain a productive and efficient healthcare environment.

What You Will Do

Serve as a liaison between practice physicians, office employees, and other clinical and administrative areas.

Ensure staffing meets the demands of provider work schedules, coordinating float pool associates and maintaining payroll information.

Complete and review office correspondence, including invoices, statements, credit cards, petty cash, mileage forms, and reports.

Perform clerical or technical roles as needed to support practice operations.

Required Qualifications: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
