The physician will conduct medical histories and physical examinations to determine the medical fitness of applicants for military service. They are also responsible for reviewing medical documentation and maintaining accurate electronic medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with a current unrestricted medical license and at least one year of postgraduate experience. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
