About the Position
Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Case Manager. This position provides professional case management and intake services to assist clients receiving treatment through advocacy, referral assistance, and by preparing individual care plans based on recovery goals and strategies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Level III - Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a minimum of 36 (thirty-six) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School equivalency (HSE) Credential and two (2) years of professional experience.
OR The completion of 60 (sixty) college credit hours and a minimum of 12 (twelve) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
OR A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and two (2) years of professional experience.
OR A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and two (2) years of professional experience.
OR have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care and two (2) years of professional experience.

Special Requirements
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
Certification as a Certified Behavioral Case Manager will be completed within 30 days of start date with the agency, contingent to training availability.
Incumbents must function in accordance with the Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and all other applicable rules, laws, and authorities.
Incumbents will adhere to the Professional Standards for Certified Behavioral Heath Case Manage (OAC 450:50-7 Rules of Professional Conduct).

About us: The Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is a psychiatric hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.
TCBH provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that supports recovery and enhances quality of life for individuals and the community.
The facility serves adults aged 18 and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders, and who are medically stable.
In response to the increasing need for mental health services in our community, TCBH is being replaced by a new facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center (OPCC). Situated in the OSU Academic Medical District in downtown Tulsa, this modern psychiatric hospital will feature 106 inpatient beds, an expanded residency program, and an enhanced range of behavioral health services. Construction of the OPCC is currently in progress.
Drug and Alcohol Pre-Employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
