Job Description

We're hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat children from infancy through adolescence in our Cedar Park, TX clinic. You'll work with kids who have sensory processing differences, fine and visual-motor delays, feeding challenges, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other diagnoses.

You'll carry your own caseload, write individualized plans of care, and partner closely with families and our PT, SLP, and ABA teams. Our play gym and therapy spaces give you room to run sessions that are clinically sharp and genuinely fun.

The Role

Complete comprehensive pediatric OT evaluations using standardized assessments (e. g., PDMS-3, BOT-2, Beery VMI, Sensory Profile 2) and clinical observation.

  • Develop individualized, measurable goals and plans of care in partnership with families.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment covering fine motor, visual-motor, handwriting, sensory processing and regulation, self-care, feeding, and play skills.
  • Coach parents and caregivers with practical home programs that carry progress beyond the session.
  • Write timely, accurate daily notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations that meet payer and Texas regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with PT, SLP, and ABA colleagues on shared clients and co-treat when it serves the child.
  • Coordinate with physicians, schools, and outside providers as needed.
  • Meet a weekly productivity target that leaves protected time for documentation.
  • Supervise COTAs and mentor students or newer therapists, if interested.

What's Required

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
  • Current NBCOT certification.
  • Active Texas OT license, or eligibility to obtain one before your start date.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A genuine love of working with kids and their families.
  • Clear, compassionate communication and solid organization.

Preferred

1+ years of pediatric experience (clinic, early intervention, or school-based); new grads with pediatric fieldwork are encouraged to apply.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Schedule

Our clinic is open seven days a week: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–4pm. Full-time is 36+ hours per week, and we'll work with you to build a schedule that fits your life.

Want a four-day week, or to pick up weekend hours for extra pay? Let's talk. Every shift includes a one-hour lunch break.
