The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and treat patients within the GI Hospitalist department, performing inpatient rounding and providing medical diagnostic services. They will also manage patient referrals, coordinate with physicians, and ensure accurate clinical documentation for insurance purposes.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and be a certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner through the Alabama Board of Nursing. A BLS provider credential from the American Heart Association is also required within 30 days of hire.
