The physician will conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and perform interventional pain procedures to manage acute and chronic pain. They will also supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants while collaborating within a transdisciplinary medical team.
Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school, complete a pain fellowship, and possess an active, unrestricted California medical license. Additionally, they must maintain board certification, DEA registration, and current ACLS certification.
