Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT)
360 Medical | New York, NY | Full-Time | Onsite | $55–$80/hour
The Role
In this role, you'll serve as a trusted mental health clinician, helping patients navigate challenges before they become larger barriers to their well-being. You'll provide therapy, guide patients toward meaningful personal and professional goals, and connect them with specialized resources when additional support is needed.
You'll never practice in isolation. As part of an integrated care team, you'll collaborate closely with fellow behavioral health clinicians and medical providers to deliver whole-person care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
Build strong therapeutic relationships through comprehensive intake assessments and thoughtful treatment planning.
Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions using clinical interviews, validated screening tools, and available medical history.
Help patients identify and achieve meaningful personal, social, and vocational goals.
Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and CAMS, tailoring treatment to each patient's needs.
Determine when short-term treatment is appropriate and coordinate seamless referrals when longer-term or specialized services would better support the patient.
Respond to crisis situations with confidence, compassion, and sound clinical judgment.
Partner with an interdisciplinary care team through case consultation, care coordination, referral management, and collaborative treatment planning.
Contribute to the broader care team through consultation, case management, care coordination, and referral management.
What You Bring
- Active New York State licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD/PhD.
- Master's degree or higher and at least 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
Strong experience providing individual psychotherapy for adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, addiction, grief, relationship challenges, family dynamics, and work-life stressors.
A deep understanding of the unique pressures experienced by professionals in demanding, high-performance environments.
Demonstrated experience assessing risk and supporting individuals experiencing crises, including suicide prevention and intervention.
- Knowledge of NYC referral networks, community resources, and appropriate levels of care.
- A plus if you have experience supporting high-performing professionals in the corporate or financial sectors.
