Our Clinical Therapists play a central role in helping individuals understand the underlying drivers of substance use, build meaningful recovery skills, strengthen relationships, and create a sustainable path forward.
About Camp Baer
Despite its name, Camp Baer is not a traditional camp. It is a premier residential substance use disorder treatment center located in a chalet-style lodge nestled within the wooded mountains of West Virginia.
Designed to provide a private, restorative environment for healing, Camp Baer delivers high-quality, evidence-based substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment to individuals from across the country. The setting combines exceptional clinical care with the tranquility and privacy of a retreat-style environment.
Camp Baer is part of Wise Path Recovery Centers, operated by Ascension Recovery Services. Together, we provide integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment grounded in evidence-based clinical practices and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Our culture is built around kindness, teamwork, empathy, integrity, excellence, and being deeply mission-driven. We believe exceptional outcomes begin with exceptional people, and we are intentionally building a team that shares that commitment.
Why Join Camp Baer?
Camp Baer offers the opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up. As a member of our opening team, you will have the opportunity to:
Help launch a brand-new residential behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment program opening in November 2026.
- Help build and develop a high-performing, mission-driven clinical team.
- Establish a strong therapeutic culture centered on safety, dignity, accountability, compassion, and recovery.
- Help shape clinical programming, therapeutic workflows, treatment practices, and the overall patient experience.
- Work in a unique, retreat-style treatment environment surrounded by the wooded mountains of West Virginia.
- Partner closely with experienced behavioral health leaders across Wise Path Recovery Centers and Ascension Recovery Services.
- Contribute to evidence-based, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
- Make a meaningful and lasting impact on individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.
For clinicians who want more than simply stepping into an established program, Camp Baer provides the opportunity to help create the culture, standards, and treatment experience that will define the facility for years to come.
