Specialty: OB/GYN: General LVPG OB/GYN is an enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania that serves women’s preventive, gynecological, and obstetric needs.

Inpatient care is conducted at 2 Family Birth and Newborn Centers, Cedar Crest (Allentown) and Muhlenberg (Bethlehem) hospital sites, and 2 primary surgical locations at Muhlenberg and 17th Street (Allentown) campuses.

Join a team of general ob/gyn physicians who work with midwives, ob/gyn hospitalists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists at our largest network maternity hospital.

This campus supports over 3000 births annually and serves as a referral hospital for our 4 other network maternity hospitals and for other regional facilities outside our network.

Our hospitalists serve as the primary teaching faculty for the ob/gyn residents and medical students, and they work closely with our maternal fetal medicine physicians for management of high-risk patients.

Newborn services include a Level IV NICU and access to our Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital pediatricians, including medical and surgical specialists. Limited hospital-based gynecology care may also be performed.

For nearly 100 years LVHN has operated independent residency programs in the Lehigh Valley area with a goal to provide the next generation with skills to be leaders, clinicians, and academicians. We offer an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and recently established a new Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.

In an obstetrics and gynecology career with LVHN, you will experience: Over 30 service sites for obstetrics and gynecology in 11 counties serving women’s preventive, gynecologic and obstetrics needs. Five Family Birth and Newborn Centers throughout the region provide maternity care.

Additional locations provide gynecologic surgical care for women using traditional and advanced minimally invasive techniques. Multiple locations give physicians and APCs the option to choose the setting in which they practice.

Intimate and familiar patient settings or busy bustling practices Community-based programs or academic tertiary referral hospitals Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurse midwives dedicated to providing exceptional care.
