Pediatric Psychiatrist - Blank Children's Hospital - Des Moines

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatrist will function as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief psychotherapy across crisis, acute inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. This role also involves offering support and education to Residency and Fellowship programs and providing on-call and consultation services at two locations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Applicants are also required to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa and possess current, unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe medications.
