Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team whose focus is on the individualized treatment plans that address motor skills, coordination, timing, and functional mobility for the birth to 21 population in an outpatient rehab setting.
Full-time position, with some evening hours required, to accommodate the population we serve.

Leg Up Farm is an award winning, outpatient pediatric therapy center located on an 18 acre campus in York county. Our individually tailored treatment plans, breadth of services, and engaging environment are the keys to improving outcomes for clients and their families. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with our providers to provide the highest level of care to our clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate and create an individualized treatment plan that is family centered.
- Complete accurate billing for all services provided in accordance with insurance regulations.
- Provide services for both outpatient rehab and school based clients.
- Supervise clinical interns in physical therapy as per Leg Up Farm and state policy.
- Completion of clear, functional, and client focused home exercise/activity programs.
- Completion of letters of medical necessity for both DME and orthotics.
- Provide input for school based clients and attend IEP meetings as needed.
- Completion of clear and thorough daily session notes in EMR.
Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Master’s or Higher in Physical Therapy from a therapy program accredited from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- PA State Physical Therapy License
- Mandated Reporting and Child Abuse Training
- First Aid & CPR/AED Certification
- Current State Child Abuse History Clearance
- Current State Police Record Check
- Current Federal Criminal History Background Check (FBI Fingerprinting)
Compliance with Drug Testing & Satisfactory Drug Testing Results. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, we have a Zero Tolerance Drug Policy in place.
- Knowledge of scope of practice of a PA State Licensed Physical Therapist
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment recommendations and orthotics recommendations.
Preferred
- 2 years of outpatient therapy experience (pediatric preferred)
- New graduates will be considered
