Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients in emergency settings
• Administer treatments and procedures within the scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly
• Provide support and education to patients and their families
• Participate in continuous education and professional development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and legal regulations

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
• Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Experience in an emergency medicine setting is preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Level III Trauma Center

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

No call required

Annual Volume: 65k+

Daily Volume: 160 patients

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
