The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients with disabilities, injuries, or disease based on a physician's prescription, administering direct care and developing treatment plans to improve motor coordination and function. Responsibilities also include instructing patients and caregivers in daily living skills to promote independence and arranging for necessary Durable Medical Equipment.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience, along with a current New York State license to practice as a Registered Occupational Therapist. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is required for this full-time position.
