Education, Experience
Active Nurse Practitioner license to practice in General/Family Medicine(Must hold either an FNP + Family Practice license OR a CRNP + Family Practice license)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Addiction Medicine
Shift: (In-Person) Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm, 8:00am - 4:00pm, or 9:00am - 5:00pm On-Call via phone or virtually
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include doing history and physicals, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, sick call and preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts if has prescriptive authority).
Provides support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed.
Coordination (with the help of the nursing staff) with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate.
Working with the nursing staff to make sure the medications are cost effective for the client after discharge and completing prior authorization requests for medications.
Other duties as assigned.
