Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Anesthetist administers anesthesia for various medical procedures across all age groups under the direction of an anesthesiologist or surgeon. They provide care in diverse settings including the OR, Endoscopy, OB, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Lithotripsy Unit.

Requirements

Candidates must hold current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist and possess a valid North Carolina Registered Nurse license. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, along with the ability to complete hospital-specific orientation.
