Key Responsibilities

The Surgical Assistant provides intraoperative technical support including exposure, hemostasis, and closure under the direction of an attending physician. They also perform preoperative and postoperative duties to ensure safe patient care and maintain a secure perioperative environment.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Assistant program or equivalent. Proficiency in interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and informatics technology is required.
