Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-call coverage for orthopedic surgery at Level III Trauma Center within 30-minute response time.
- Perform general orthopedic surgical procedures as per scope of care.
- Manage admissions (2-5 per day) during call shifts.
- Cover specified date ranges and sporadic ongoing dates as scheduled.
- Complete credentialing and EMR training requirements prior to start.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-call orthopedic surgical coverage at a Level III Trauma Center with a 30-minute response time. Manage patient admissions and perform general orthopedic surgical procedures as required.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with an active Colorado license or IMLC. Requires current ACLS and BLS certifications and the ability to complete credentialing within 30 days.
