Registered Dental Hygienist

Description

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the overall dental team. You’ll work closely with Dentists to provide high-quality preventative care and help patients maintain optimal oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth
• Take, develop, and accurately process dental x-rays
• Document evaluations of oral health conditions and the extent of prophylaxis on patient charts to aid Dentists in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Reinforce the Dentist’s treatment plans by providing supportive care and guidance
• Foster a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages

Schedule

• Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with a consistent schedule
• Part-time: Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | No late evenings, no weekends

Requirements

• Qualifications
• Oklahoma Dental Hygiene license (Required)

Accelerated Hygiene Experience a Plus

Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Fuse, Open Dental, or similar systems is a plus
