AMFT or ASW therapist for addiction treatment

Join JMG INVESTMENTS as a AMFT or ASW Therapist – Addiction Treatment in United States. Harmony Place treatment facility is located in the upscale area of Woodland Hills, California. We specialize in helping our clients obtain the life skills needed to overcome drug and alcohol addiction as well as co-occurring mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems and 12-step/recovery resources in the community.

• Maintain appropriate documentation as required.

• Conduct assessments of clients at the time of admission and re-assessments as required.

• Conduct mental status examinations.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.

• Licensed by California Board of Behavioral Sciences license eligible (AMFT; ASW), in good standing.

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or mental illness.

• DHCS Standard 13010(b)(6) requires personnel file to contain health screening report and tuberculosis test results.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.
