Radiologist Technician

Join North Platte Valley Medical Center as a Radiologic Technologist – CT Imaging, On-Call in United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT exams of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities. Places IVs for contrast injections. Follows protocols set by the radiologist. Receives patient, explains the procedure, and creates a safe environment for the patient through good communication skills.

• Office Duties. Performs office jobs in a small department including, but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling patients’ exams, printing reports, retrieving charts, researching problems, ordering supplies, and helping radiologists and providers.

• Responsible for QA and QC for NPVMC imaging modalities. Documents: patient exposure time to radiation, amount of contrast administered, exam performed, and other information as required by the Joint Commission regulations.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiography School.

• 2 years’ experience in Radiography.

• 1-year experience in CT preferred.
