Job DetailsJob Location: Amberwell Atchison - Atchison, KS 66002Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Travel Between Amberwell LocationsJob Shift: 12 Hour NightJob Category: Respiratory Therapy IND456 Signing Bonus: $20,000 JOB DESCRIPTION: Critical access hospital located within 45 minutes of Kansas City is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the team.
Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director, the respiratory therapist is responsible for providing basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
The therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of Respiratory Care in all patient care departments. Therapy services and testing are performed within the scope of practice of the Cardiopulmonary Department and within the licensure guidelines as defined by the state of Kansas.

Job Qualifications
Experience: Preferred Experience: 1 + years clinical experience Able to perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Education: Minimum Required Education: Successful completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care Licenses: Minimum Required Licenses: KSBHA license Minimum Required Credentials: Certified Respiratory Therapist from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Preferred Credentials: Registered Respiratory Therapy from the NBRC. Preferred Licenses: N/A Certifications: Minimum Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Key Responsibilities
Provide basic and advanced respiratory care services to patients across all age groups in various hospital departments. Plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory therapy within state licensure guidelines.
Requirements
Requires an associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care and a KSBHA license. Must hold NBRC certification (CRT) and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
