Speech Therapist Part Time

Join Open Arms Care as a Speech Therapist Part Time in Memphis, Tennessee. To ensure quality services are provided in accordance with all federal, state and corporate standards and regulations. Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to clients with speech, voice, or language disorders, dysphagia, and other related disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations to assess clients with speech or language disorders, dysphagia, and/or other related.

• Develop clinical recommendations and strategies by interpreting observations and data.

• Participate in annual ISP meetings, Circle of Support Meetings (as appropriate), and acute concerns.

• Collaborate with each client’s Circle of Support to plan and implement activities to improve communication skills of clients.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.

• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-.

• Hearing Association (ASHA).

• May be required to lift and transfer clients to and from wheelchair or assist with positioning clients with physical disabilities.

Work Schedule

• Part-Time position.
