Job Description
UT Tyler Health Science Center is searching for a Board-Certified Faculty Psychiatrist to join UT Health East Texas in its Pittsburg, TX, location- 55 mi from Tyler/120 mi from Dallas.
About the Position
- Clinic Hours - Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
- Outpatient clinic with MHMR at Lakes Regional
- Precepting psychiatry residents in both clinic and remote settings
- Occasional short-term coverage in other areas as needs arise
- Call rotates with our UT Health North Campus Psychiatry physicians
- Weekly schedule will be determined based on skillset of candidates

Key Responsibilities
The psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric care at the Lakes Regional clinic and precept psychiatry residents in both clinic and remote settings. Responsibilities also include participating in a rotating call schedule and providing short-term coverage in other areas as needed.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board-Certified Psychiatrists eligible for practice in Texas. The role requires a commitment to academic teaching and the ability to work effectively within a community-based healthcare system.
