Key Responsibilities

The Neurocritical Care Physician will manage high-volume patient care in an 18-bed Neuroscience ICU, including approximately 1,000 stroke admissions annually. The role involves collaborating with anesthesia, neurosurgery, and neurology residency programs within a Level 1 trauma center.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed to practice medicine in Illinois and hold current DEA registration for prescribing narcotics. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty and maintain medical staff privileges.
