Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia for various surgical and medical procedures while monitoring patient safety. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Proficiency in ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications is also required.
