Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering various types of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, or medical procedures. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, monitor patients during procedures, and provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification, and a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, they are required to maintain current ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
