• Essential Functions & Responsibilities of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Deliver physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist (PT)
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and overall function
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress/concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist (PT)
• Accurately document patient visits, interventions, and progress as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Provide education and guidance to patients and caregivers to support continued progress
• Qualifications for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Active license from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Valid Florida driver’s license, active vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass AHCA Clearinghouse background screening

Current In-person CPR Certification

• Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, bending, lifting, and assisting patients/equipment
• Strong customer service, communication skills and effective listening
• Experience Preferred for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience
• Compensation for the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Pay is commensurate with Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) experience, Home Health background, and documentation proficiency
