Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Evaluate patients’ functional status and assess their home environments for potential hazards or barriers to independent living.
  • Identify equipment needs and participate in developing the total plan of care.
  • Develop individualized treatment programs, establish functional goals, and communicate plans of care to the referring physician and other healthcare professionals.
  • Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities affected by illness or injury, following organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Skills: Active and unencumbered California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Minimum of one (1+) year of relevant experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
