Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will manage ventilators, perform arterial punctures, and assist with airway management and high-acuity procedures. They are also responsible for delivering various respiratory therapies and educating patients and families on care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are also required.
