Respiratory Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized cardiopulmonary care, including ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and nebulizer treatments for diverse patient needs. They also perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and communicate pertinent evaluation data to physicians.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the ability to obtain RRT status within one year. Active licensure in Nebraska or Iowa and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
