- Must have Fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care
- Clean NPDB and malpractice background
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide trauma and surgical critical care coverage for inpatients and outpatients.
- Manage ICU patients (MSICU, CVIU, CICU) and emergency general surgery.
- Supervise and collaborate with APPs in both day and night teams.
- Perform surgical procedures including laparoscopic, vascular, and trauma surgeries.
- Participate in call schedule and provide backup coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide trauma and surgical critical care coverage for both inpatients and outpatients, including managing ICU patients and performing surgical procedures. Supervise and collaborate with APPs while participating in a night and day call schedule.
Requirements
Must be board certified in General Surgery and Critical Care with an active Indiana license, CSR, DEA, and ATLS certification. A fellowship in Trauma or Surgical Critical Care is required along with a clean NPDB and malpractice background.
