The pay for this position is $135,000-$145,000 annually.

3 weeks (pro-rated) paid vacation to start & excellent health/dental/vision coverage!

9 paid holidays and 1 week of personal time

HCRS is seeking a full time Director of Nursing to join our team. The Nursing Director provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for nursing services across the agency’s mental health and substance use, crisis, residential, and developmental services programs.

The Nursing Director ensures that nursing services are safe, accessible, person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and responsive to the complex behavioral and physical health needs of the individuals served. Master's degree in nursing preferred or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of leadership experience.

To Be Considered, You Will Have

  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program or a Bachelor’s Degree with three years of leadership experience in a Director or similar role.
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the states of Vermont and New Hampshire.
  • At least three years of nursing leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in mental health, developmental services, residential services, substance use treatment, or a related human services setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medication management, nursing delegation, clinical risk management, and quality improvement.
  • Experience developing clinical policies, protocols, training programs, and competency standards.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing nursing staff.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, clinical documentation systems, and standard business technology.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between service locations.
