Key Responsibilities
- Full-time Mental Health Technician (MHT) position available: Five 8-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, from 7AM to 3:30 PM, floating units.
- Website: Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Services | Rockford Center | Newark, DE.
- Monitor unit patients and complete rounds as assigned.
- Participate in treatment planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or similar previous experience with adults in a behavioral health setting. Strong communication skills, excellent customer service and organization skills, highly effective listening skills, and strong clinical skills.
- Two (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- CPR certification and Completion of Handle with Care training during orientation process.
