Dentist (DMD, DDS)

Key Responsibilities

The Dentist provides dental services, including clinical examinations and emergency treatment of teeth and soft tissues. They are also responsible for performing radiographic exams and making appropriate referrals for procedures beyond the facility's scope.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current DMD or DDS degree and be licensed in the state of Mississippi. A current DEA number and the ability to work effectively within a correctional healthcare team are also required.
