Job Details: Job Location: Wiry Smiles Mooresville - Mooresville, NC 28115, Education Level: Dental Assisting Diploma, This position allows you to work in a team setting with a group of equal minded dental professionals
Responsibilities
Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Removing excess cement from brackets and orthodontic bands Bracket set-up Ligature removal and replacement Pre-selection of orthodontic bands and separator placement Wire removal and placement Taking impression and bite registrations and Fabrication orthodontic retainers Other duties as assigned to assist team Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Bilingual a plus!
Requirements

Key Responsibilities
The Orthodontist Dental Assistant will prepare patients for treatments and assist with various orthodontic procedures including bracket setup and wire placement. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean environment, sterilizing instruments, and fabricating orthodontic retainers.
Requirements
Candidates must be CPR certified and have at least one year of experience in a dental setting. A diploma from an accredited dental assistant school is required.
