Position Highlights
* OB/GYN Laborist role focused exclusively on inpatient obstetric care
* Responsibilities include deliveries, obstetric triage, and emergent
gynecologic cases
* Employed position with Tenet Health at Doctors Medical Center — a 465-bed,
multi-specialty facility
* Work alongside a skilled team of OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and dedicated
support staff
* Level 3 NICU with laborist on site
* Predictable schedule with shift-based structure

Doctors Medical Center (DMC), part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System,
is the largest full-care hospital between Stockton and Fresno, and from the
Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area, with a 394-bed general acute care and a
67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. DMC is known for providing comprehensive
inpatient, outpatient and emergency care. Doctors Medical Center offers a wide
range of services including cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency and
trauma services, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, women and childrens
services, medical/surgical, behavioral health, oncology and critical/intensive

Key Responsibilities
The Laborist focuses exclusively on inpatient obstetric care, including managing deliveries and obstetric triage. Responsibilities also extend to handling emergent gynecologic cases within a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Eligibility for California medical licensure is also required.
