Key Responsibilities
The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures while monitoring patient safety and managing complications. They also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop care plans, and provide post-anesthesia pain management.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current RN license, CRNA certification (NBCRNA), and a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, current ALS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
