Key Responsibilities

• Academic responsibilities will include supervision of addiction and psychiatry residents as well as teaching of medical students.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree from an appropriately accredited institution.

• Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency training program or of an approved combined medicine-psychiatry or family medicine-psychiatry residency training program.

• Candidate must be board eligible/certified in Addiction specialty (psychiatry or medicine).

• Candidate must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of North Carolina, have a current state and federal prescriptive authority as well as a valid DATA 2000 waiver to prescribe buprenorphine products for the treatment of addiction.
