Job Description
The Therapist III - Respiratory possesses expert knowledge of Pediatric and/or Neonatal cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology. S/he has expert knowledge and clinical acumen in the use of all medical devices and techniques used in respiratory therapy for the Pediatric and/or Neonatal patient population.
S/he demonstrates advanced level professional skills relevant to patient assessment, disease identification and evaluation, and administration of clinical therapeutic, interventional, and diagnostic care. The incumbent demonstrates the knowledge and skills to participate in education of the patient, family and public.
The Therapist III - Respiratory is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. S/he participates in the supervision and teaching of junior and new members of staff within the department.

Key Responsibilities
Provide expert respiratory therapy care for pediatric and neonatal patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and administration of therapeutic interventions. Supervise and teach junior staff members while ensuring all duties meet the highest clinical standards.
Requirements
Requires a Diploma or Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy with at least 5 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in a neonatal/pediatric tertiary care facility. Must be eligible for licensure with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners and possess strong communication skills.
