Must have, as a minimum, one (1) to three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility. Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Current CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a large nursing operation at a skilled nursing facility by developing nursing leaders and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Oversee clinical operations, including ventilator/tracheostomy units and post-acute rehabilitation services, while ensuring high standards of care.
Requirements
Requires a nursing degree from an accredited institution and a current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Candidates must have at least one to three years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of long-term care regulations.
