Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with ear, nose, and throat conditions. Knowledge of medical documentation standards including ICD-10, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance is required.

This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a variety of ENT-related conditions in both outpatient and procedural settings. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care and innovative treatment modalities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat common ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergies, ear infections, hearing issues, and throat disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e. g., imaging, labs, audiology reports)
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
• Perform in-office procedures as appropriate (e. g., nasal endoscopy, cerumen removal, minor procedures)
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care
• Collaborate with ENT physicians on complex cases and surgical planning
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR system
• Participate in follow-up care and ongoing patient management
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

Requirements

Education/Certification

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e. g., FNP, AGNP)

Licensure

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio
• DEA license and prescriptive authority required

Knowledge & Skills

• Previous experience in ENT, family practice, urgent care, or related specialty preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
