Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They also provide clinical instruction to graduate students and participate in departmental administrative and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, along with a valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience is required, and proficiency in Microsoft applications is necessary.
