Description
Schedule: Exempt, min 40 Hours per week | Hybrid
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), reporting to the Chief of Home and Community Based Services, is the senior shared physician executive for Brio’s PACE organizations.
The CMO provides strategic clinical leadership, medical oversight, and provider development across the portfolio while preserving strong local clinical leadership.
In partnership with Executive Directors, local clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary teams (IDTs), the CMO advances quality, participant outcomes, utilization management, regulatory compliance, clinical innovation, and growth.
The CMO sets shared expectations for medical leadership and develops the judgment, accountability, and administrative capabilities providers need to lead effectively in a capitated, interdisciplinary, participant-centered care model.

- Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Unrestricted physician license in the State of Michigan (MD or DO).
- Active DEA registration.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in geriatric medicine, palliative care, and/or hospice care.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a PACE Medical Director.
- Strong commitment to providing high-quality, participant-centered care for older adults.

Requirements
Candidates must hold an unrestricted Michigan physician license (MD or DO) and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine. A minimum of three years in geriatric, palliative, or hospice care and two years as a PACE Medical Director are required.
